when we slumber our subconscious mind enters the etheric realms.
there are many theories of where the mind, soul & spirit go during dream time. during our slumbers we have the ability to easily access other dimensions, we no longer exist in this linear time frame we refer to as “reality.” this sleep easy ritual will allow the mind and body to relax and relieve any anxiety so the mind and spirit can go for a journey!
✧ step by step guide ✧
✧ after you completed your night time self care routine, make sure to get into something comfy
✧ light a candle and/or some incense by your bedside (ethically sourced palo santo if you have it)
✧ enjoy your relaxing tea & take a moment to just savor this present moment and the sweet aroma of your bedtime tea
✧ warm bergamot oil in the palm of your hands and gently rub on the back of the neck giving yourself a nice massage
✧ after you have enjoyed your tea and given yourself a massage, spend 5-10 minutes meditating sitting up in your bed, listen to the quiet, let that inspire your mind to empty, for your mind to still.
✧ repeat the mantra “my mind is still so my body can rest”
✧ hold your amethyst while you meditate and be sure to keep your crystal by your bedside during the night

once you are finished meditating, dedicate a journal for bedtime gratitude. every night make sure to write three things you are grateful for before you sleep. shedding gratitude before you sleep, releases oxytocin and eases any imbalances in our cortisol levels, our “go go go” hormone. by ending the day on a positive vibration you plant the seed for a blissful morning ✧

if you suffer from night terrors or insomnia I suggest making a “dream pillow” — simply place an amethyst crystal with some mugwort herb in a muslin (or plastic) bag under your pillow or above your bed. this will infuse your dream-space with positive protective energy. it’s like the ritual that keeps on giving ✧
